Ultimate Bearing Capacity Analysis of Pile Caps with New Socket Connections

چکیده

Socket connection need a groove reserved in the cap to accommodate bridge pier, which greatly weaken vertical bearing capacity of cap. The conventional treatment measure is increase thickness cap, and corresponding cost will increase. measures enhance socket caps without increasing were discussed this paper, including rough interface at bottom additional hanging bars, high-strength grouting material seam, large-diameter metal corrugated pipes, etc. Based on previous test, finite element analysis pile with new connections was carried out. parameters included construction method, steel bar diameter depth, plate, length, friction coefficient, M–N relation full-scale model also analyzed. Research indicated mainly provided by interfaces, contribution three parts about 40%, 34%, 26%; proportional areas bars inversely length pile. To obtain overall cast-in-place plan for needs be increased 27%. At last, design formula calculation proposed.
